HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)

Alternate DC 

ROW 64: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME SC; SKIP next SC.
*Work 2 DC into next SC; SKIP next SC. ** Repeat from * to ** until last 2 SC; work 1 DC into each of last 2 SC. TURN.
(68 x 2 DC groups; 2 DC = 138 STS)

ROW 65: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME DC; SKIP next DC.
*Work 2 DC into next DC; SKIP next DC. ** Repeat from * to ** until last 2 DC; work 1 DC into each of last 2 DC. TURN.

ROW 66 – 68: Repeat ROW 65.
