This Scrapsumptious Crochet Along Part Three is part of a collection of fun, unique projects to crochet.
The choice is yours to crochet a bag, a cushion or a blanket.

Special Stitches:
How to Work Front-Post Treble-Crochet (FPTR):
- Yarn over twice and insert your hook from front to back between the posts of the first and second stitch of the row/round below, and then from back to front again between the posts of the second and third stitches or according to the instructions in the pattern.
- The hook should now be positioned horizontally behind the stitch that you’re working around.
- Yarn over and draw the yarn around the post of the stitch.
- You now have 4 loops on the hook.
- [Yarn over and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook] x 3 times.
- One front post treble crochet (FPTR) is complete.
How to Work 3 Double Crochet Together (3DCtog):
- Work 3 double crochet into space or single ST, holding the last loop of each double crochet on the hook.
- Yarn over and pull the yarn through all four loops on the hook.
INSTRUCTIONS
The following rounds apply for all three projects – Bag, Cushion and Blanket.
Instructions are only worked only once for each project:
Bag – Rnd 16-21
Cushion – Rnd 16-21
Blanket – Rnd 16-21
With A (Color G – if doing Bag Colors) – join into any 4 CH space.
RND 16: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC): work 2 DC into SAME CH space; work 1 FPDC around next HDC Popcorn.
*Work 3 DC into next 4 CH space; work 1 FPDC around next HDC Popcorn. **
Repeat from * to ** 52 more times; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
(54 x FPDC; 54 x 3 DC = 216 STS)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With G (Color D – if doing Bag Colors) – join into any FPDC.
RND 17: CH 4 (counts as 1 TR); work [2 CH; 1 TR] into SAME FPDC; work 3DCtog over next 3 STS; work 1 DC into next 7 STS; work 1 HDC into next 10 STS; work 1 SC into next 13 STS; work 1 HDC into next 10 STS; work 1 DC into next 7 STS; work 3DCtog over next 3 STS.
*Work [1 TR; 2 CH; 1 TR] into next ST; work 3DCtog over next 3 STS; work 1 DC into next 7 STS; work 1 HDC into next 10 STS; work 1 SC into next 13 STS; work 1 HDC into next 10 STS; work 1 DC into next 7 STS; work 3DCtog over next 3 STS. **
