Scrapsantastic Crochet Throw Part Three – Free Crochet Along

The Scrapsantastic Crochet Throw Part three is part of  a fun, unique blanket crochet along worked in a variety of stitches and squares. A puzzle constructed as you crochet.

Abbreviations:  US Terminology

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

INSTRUCTIONS

Section Two – Chevron Panel
Colors:

• A – Grey
• B – Mint
• C – Raspberry
• D – Kingfisher
• E – Pale Lilac
• F – Ballet Pink

With A and 4, 00 mm (G) – join CH 209 (pattern stitch dividable by 23 x 9 = 207 plus 2 for foundation)

RS – ROW 1: Work 2 SC into 2^nd CH from hook; *work 1 SC into each of next 10 CH; SKIP next 2 CH; work 1 SC into each of next 10 CH; work 3 SC into next CH. ** Repeat from * to ** 7 more times; work 1 SC into each of next 10 CH; SKIP next 2 CH; work 1 SC into each of next 10 CH; work 2 SC into last CH.
(208 SC – 9 x Chevron Points) TURN.

WS – ROW 2: CH 1; work 2 SC into FIRST SC; *work 1 SC into each of next 10 SC; SKIP next 2 SC; work 1 SC into each of next 10 SC; work 3 SC into next SC. ** Repeat from * to ** 7 more times; work 1 SC into each of next 10 SC; SKIP next 2 SC; work 1 SC into each of next 10 SC; work 2 SC into last SC.
(208 SC – 9 x Chevron Points) Fasten off and weave in ends.

Repeat ROW 2 for the pattern as follows:
Note – two rows are worked in a color then fastened off.
