Easy to intermediate
Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing.

You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet) and DC (double crochet).
Special stitches explained and provided in the instructions.

  • Elle Charity Print – Variegated(I used Sweet Treats – now discontinued) x 100 grams DK
  • Elle Charity Pink – 100 grams DK
  • Elle Charity White – 100 grams DK

Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests DK yarn (Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light Worsted).
Using the same yarn weight is required with the hook size recommended

Rnd 1: Work 11DC into 4th CH from hook, SL ST into 3rd of 3CH (12 DC)

Rnd 2: 3CH (counts as DC), work 1DC into same ST as 3CH, work 2DC into each ST (24 DC), SL ST into 3rd of 3CH

Rnd 3: 3CH (counts as DC), work 1DC into same ST as 3CH, work 1DC into next ST. *Work 2DC into next ST, work 1DC into next ST. ** Repeat from * to ** until end, SL ST into 3rd of 3CH (36 DC)

Rnd 10: Loosely SL ST into each ST, cut yarn and weave in ends.

Flower:

With white yarn and 3.50mm Hook – make a magic circle / or CH 6 and SL ST into first CH.

Rnd1: CH1, work 12SC into ring, join with a SL ST into 1st SC

Rnd 2: CH1, work 3DC into 1SC, *CH1, SL ST into next ST, CH1, work 3DC into next ST, repeat from * 5 more times to make 6 petals, join with a SL ST into back loop of CH1

Work next round at the back of flower to create 6 loops:

Rnd 3: *CH2, miss 1st petal, SL ST into back of next SL ST, repeat from * to end, join with a SL ST into 1st CH at beginning of round. Cut yarn.

Rnd 4: join 2nd contrasting color (darker pink) or pink with a SL ST to any 2CH loop, CH1, work 4TR into loop, CH1. *Work 4TR into next loop, CH1. ** Repeat from * to ** 5 times more.

Cut yarn, leaving a tail for sewing flower onto Beanie.

Sew flower onto beanie and weave in ends.

Little Granny Square Blanky:

With variegated yarn and 3.50mm Hook – make a magic circle / or CH 6 and SL ST into first CH.

Rnd 1: CH3(counts as DC), work 2DC into ring CH2. *Work 3DC into ring, CH2. **
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3CH.

Rnd 2: SL ST into next 2STS. SL ST into 2CH space, CH3, work 2DC into space, CH2, work 3DC into space, CH1. *Work [3DC, CH2, 3DC] into 2CH space, CH1. **
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3CH.

Work a Pink Flower same as for beanie (Rnd 1-2) attach to corner.

Flower Hexagon Square: (Make 19)

Flower: (8 white flowers / 8 pink flowers)

With white yarn and 3.50mm Hook – make a magic circle / or CH 6 and SL ST into first CH.

Rnd1: CH1, work 12SC into ring, join with a SL ST into 1st SC.
