INSTRUCTIONS
With A – make a magic ring/or CH 4; SL ST into 4th CH from hook to form a ring.
RND 1: CH 2 (this DOES NOT count as a ST); work 12 DC into ring; SL ST into first DC worked. (12 DC)
RND 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 FPDC around SAME ST; *work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 FPDC around SAME DC. ** Repeat from * to ** all around (x 10); SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
(12 DC; 12 FPDC) Fasten off and weave in ends.

With B – join into any DC.
RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME ST; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC.
*Work 2 DC into next DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC. **
Repeat from * to ** all around (x 10); SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH. (24 DC; 12 FPDC)
RND 4: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME ST; work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC. *Work 2 DC into next DC; work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC. ** Repeat from * to ** all around (x 10); SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH. (36 DC; 12 FPDC)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With C – join into the 2nd (CENTER) DC of a 3 DC group.
Note: If you have a tight tension it is recommended to either switch to a larger hook (4,00 mm) for the round/ or CH 3 instead of CH 2 as instructed in the pattern.
RND 5: Work Starting HDC Popcorn (special stitches); CH 2; SKIP next DC; work FPDC around next FPDC; CH 2; SKIP next DC.
*Work HDC Popcorn into next DC; CH 2; SKIP next DC; work FPDC around next FPDC; CH 2; SKIP next DC. ** Repeat from * to ** all around (x 10); SL ST into top of starting popcorn.
(12 HDC Popcorns; 12 FPDC; 24 x 2 CH spaces) Fasten off and weave in ends.

With A – join into any 2 CH space AFTER a HDC Popcorn.
RND 6: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same space; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC; work 2 DC into next 2 CH space; work 1 FPDC around next HDC Popcorn.
*Work 2 DC into next 2 CH space; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC; work 2 DC into next 2 CH space; work 1 FPDC around next HDC Popcorn. ** Repeat from * to ** all around (x 10); SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH. (48 DC; 12 x FPDC around Popcorn; 12 FPDC = 72 STS)
Note: you will increase (2 DC) after every FPDC worked around a HDC Popcorn – this is just a reminder it is written in the instructions.
RND 7: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME ST; work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC (Popcorn).

Tip – Join yarn into the last stitch worked of round 7.
Note: you will increase (2 DC) after every HDC Popcorn FPDC row – this is just a reminder it is written in the instructions.
RND 8: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME ST; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC (Popcorn).

E- join into any 2 CH space of a V-ST.
RND 14: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 6 DC into SAME space; CH 1; work 1 SC into next V-ST 2 CH space; CH 1. *Work 7 DC into next V-ST 2 CH space; CH 1; work 1 SC into next V-ST 2 CH space; CH 1. ** Repeat from * to ** all around (x 16); SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
(18 x Petals/Shells; 18 SC; 36 x 1 CH spaces)

RND 15: SL ST into previous SC worked – see photo – Tip: Remove hook; insert into SC; pull yarn through.
*CH 5; FPSC around 4th (CENTER) DC of Petal/Shell; CH 5; SL ST into next SC. **
Repeat from * to ** all around (x 17). (36 x 5 CH spaces; 18 x FPSC)

Picot: CH 3; SL ST into 3rd CH from hook.
RND 16: *Work [SC; HDC; DC; Picot; DC; HDC; SC] into next 5 CH space. **
Repeat from * to ** all around (x 35); SL ST into first SC worked.
(36 Picot Petals) Fasten off and weave in ends.

Note: for the next round you will be working BEHIND the Picot Petals of RND 16.
With F – join with a SC into RND 14 SC behind RND 16 Petals – see photo.
RND 17: CH 10. *Work 1 SC into next RND 14 SC; CH 10. ** Repeat from * to ** all around (x 16); SL ST into first 10 CH space worked. (18 x 10 CH spaces; 18 SC)

RND 18: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 11 DC into 10 CH space; SL ST into next SC.
*Work 12 DC into next 10 CH space; SL ST into next SC. ** Repeat from * to ** all around (x 16). (18 x 12 DC groups)

Tip: to work a long TR – you insert hook into designated stitch and pull yarn through and pulling it up level with your current row of stitches, complete TR.
The TR stitch is worked in-between the SC stitches of the Petals.
RND 19: *SL ST into next DC (1st of 12 DC group); work 1 SC into next DC; work 1 HDC into next DC; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 TR into next DC; work 1 Long TR in-between RND 16 Picot Petals; work 1 TR into next DC; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 HDC into next DC; work 1 SC into next DC; SL ST into next DC (12th DC of 12 DC group). **
Repeat from * to ** all around (x 17); SL ST below first SL ST worked.
(18 x Petals) Fasten off and weave in ends.

Note: For the next round you will work into the back-loops of the previous round’s stitches.
You will SKIP all SL ST’s worked for this round.
With G – join into any SC of a Petal.
RND 20: CH 4 (counts as 1 TR); work 1 DC into next HDC; work 1 HDC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 SC into next TR; work 1 SC into long TR; work 1 SC into next TR; work 1 HDC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 DC into next HDC; work 1 TR into next SC.
