INSTRUCTIONS

With C and hook 3, 50 (E) – make a magic ring/or CH 4; SL ST into 4^th CH from hook to form a ring.

Note: IF you have a tight tension do round 1 with hook 4, 00 (G)

RND 1: CH 2 (this DOES NOT count as a ST); work 15 DC into ring; SL ST into first DC worked. (15 DC)

RND 2: *CH 10; work 1 SC into 2^nd CH; work 1 SC into next CH; work 1 HDC into each of next 4 CH; work 1 DC into each of next 3 CH; SKIP next 2 DC; SL ST into next DC. **
Repeat from * to ** 4 more times; SL ST into first DC.  (5 Petals)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Note: For the next round work into FRONTLOOPS only.

With B – join into the SC of any Petal with a SC.

RND 3: Work 1 SC into SC; work 1 HDC into each of next 4 HDC; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 3DCtog over next [DC; SL ST; DC]; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 HDC into each of next 4 HDC; work 1 SC into next SC; work 2 SC into last SC.
*Work 1 SC into each of next 2 SC; work 1 HDC into each of next 4 HDC; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 3DCtog over next [DC; SL ST; DC]; work 1 DC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 HDC into each of next 4 HDC; work 1 SC into next SC; work 2 SC into last SC. **

RND 4: Work 1 SC into next SC; work 1 HDC into each of next 2 STS; work 1 DC into next ST; work 3DCtog over next 3 STS; work 3TRtog over next 3 STS; work 3DCtog over next 3 STS; work 1 DC into next ST; work 1 HDC into each of next 2 STS; work 1 SC into next SC.

With A – join into any ST.

RND 14: CH 2 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into each ST all around; SL ST into 2^nd of 2 CH.

RND 15: CH 2 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into each of next 11 DC; work 2DCtog.
*Work 1 DC into each of next 12 DC; work 2DCtog. ** Repeat from * to ** 10 more times; SL ST into 2^nd of 2 CH. (156 STS)

RND 16: CH 1 (does NOT counts as a ST); work 1 SC into SAME ST; CH 3; work 4 DC into SAME ST; SKIP next 3 STS. *Work 1 SC into next ST; CH 3; work 4 DC into SAME ST; SKIP next 3 STS. **
Repeat from * to ** 37 more times; SL ST into first SC worked.

Unhook yarn and pull through the gap of the shell then start RND 17 with a SC in the CENTER SKIPPED ST (2^nd) of the next 3 SKIPPED STS to the back.

RND 17: CH 1; work 1 SC into SAME ST; CH 6.
*Work 1 SC into next CENTER SKIPPED ST (2^nd) of the next 3 SKIPPED STS; CH 6. **
