Scrapalicious Bag Large Rectangles and Sewing|Creative Crochet Workshop

PART THREE:

 3 Rectangles Assorted and a bit of Sewing
SKILL LEVEL:
Easy
Basic stitches, simple shaping and finishing.
SIZE:
Big Rectangle – Approx 42cm x 10cm
Small Rectangle – Approx 24cm x 10cm
MATERIALS:
Yarns:
Small amounts of double knitting/light worsted yarn in various colors or
various colors in any yarn available

IMPORTANT NOTE – USE THE SAME TYPE OF YARN THROUGH OUT THE PROJECT!
Don’t stress – the size will just differ if different types are used 🙂

Hooks & Notions:
Size 4.00 mm Hook
Yarn Needle
GAUGE:
Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect as long as all the blocks are approx. the same size
I use US Crochet stitch terminology

Small Rectangle : Make 2

CH 41
Row 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd chain from hook, work 1 SC into each chain until end (40 SC), change color turn
Row 2: CH3 (counts as 1 DC). work 1 DC into each SC until end (40 DC), change color turn
Row 3: CH1, work 1 SC into each DC until end (40 SC), change color turn
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until 11 Rows worked, FO and weave in ends
Large Rectangle : Make 1

CH 71

Layout the pieces as shown in the photos above and sew or
crochet the pieces together. I used the Whipstitch method to
attach my pieces together.
You will have this large piece plus the two small
rectangle left for Part Four!

  1. This is awesome but I've not done enough projects to have scraps yet. Only full balls. I can cheat!
