Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

Instructions:
The Bathroom
Yarns: scraps of double knitting/light worsted yarn in white and a color for the towel – (from 2 yards to 50 yards)
Hooks & Notions:
- Size 3.50 mm Hook
- Yarn Needle
- Stitch Marker
- 2 x Large Press Button (Snap Fastener)
- 3 x Small Button
- blue assorted ribbon for water
- Needle and Thread
PROJECT NOTES:
This page is worked on the backside of the Kitchen. The bath forms a pocket for the doll to sit in. Use your own embellishments to decorate your page – the only limit is your imagination!
Bath:
With white yarn, CH 21
Row 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd chain from hook, work 1 SC into each ST until end, turn. (20 SC)
Row 2: CH1, work 2 SC into first SC, work 1 SC into next 18 SC, work 2 SC into last SC (22 SC), turn.
Row 3: CH1, work 1 SC into each ST until end (22 SC), turn.
Row 4: CH1, work 2 SC into first SC, work 1 SC into next 20 SC, work 2 SC into last SC (24 SC), turn.
Row 5: CH1, work 1 SC into each ST until end (24 SC), turn.
Row 6: CH1, work 2 SC into first SC, work 1 SC into next 22 SC, work 2 SC into last SC (26 SC), turn.
Row 7-14: CH1, work 1 SC into each ST until end (26 SC), turn, after last row, turn and SL ST all around. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Shower:
With white yarn, CH 9
Row 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook, work 1 SC into each ST until end (8 SC), turn.
Row 2: CH1, SC2tog, work 1 SC into next 4 STS, SC2tog, turn.
Row 3: CH1 work 1 SC into each ST until end (6 SC), turn.
Row 4: CH1, SC2tog, work 1 SC into next 4 STS, SC2tog, turn.
Row 5: CH1 work 1 SC into each ST until end (4 SC), turn.
Row 6: CH1 SC2tog twice, turn.
Row 7: SC2tog, turn.
Row 8: SL ST all shower head, SL ST into first SL ST, CH 30, work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook work 1 SC into each chain ST until end (29 SC). Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Sew bath onto page leaving the top part open, sew shower as shown on photo. Attach some assorted blue ribbons for water to shower head.
Facecloth:
With yarn, CH 6
Row 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook, work 1 SC into each ST until end. (5 SC)
Row 2 – 5: CH1, work 1 SC into each ST until end (5 SC). SL ST all around.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Towel:
With yarn, CH 12
Row 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd chain from hook, work 1 SC into each ST until end (11 SC), turn.
Row 2: to give my towel some texture I alternated my stitches between SC and DC.
CH1, work 1 SC into first SC, work 1 DC into next ST. *Work 1 SC into next ST, work 1 DC into next ST. ** Repeat from * to ** until end.
Row 3: CH3 (counts as 1 DC), work 1 SC into next ST. *Work 1 DC into next ST, work 1 SC into next ST. ** Repeat from * to **until end.
Repeat row 2 and 3 x 6 more times.
Row 16: CH1, work 1 SC into each ST until end. SL ST all around.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Attach a Press Button (Snap Fastener) to the facecloth and towel.
Whipstitch (sew) all the pieces into place.
