Double knitting / light worsted (No 3) yarn
– small amounts of yarn in 5 colors (yellow, pink, green, aqua and cream)
Hook 4,00 mm
Yarn needle
Size: 5 x 5 inch (12, 7 cm)
Skill Level: Easy

Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect
I use US Crochet stitch terminology
Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
INSTRUCTIONS:
RND 1: CH 1; *work 1 SC into ring; CH 2. Repeat from * 7 more times; join with a SL ST into first SC.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

*work into 2 CH space [CH 2, 1 DC] twice; CH 2, SL ST into space; CH 1;
SL ST into next 2 CH space. Repeat from * 6 more times.
Work into last 2 CH space [CH 2, 1 DC] twice; CH 2, SL ST into space; CH 1;
join with a SL ST into base of beginning 2 CH, (8 petals made).
Fasten off and weave in ends.


*CH 3; SL ST into next 1 CH space. Repeat from * 6 more times.
CH 3; join with a SL ST into base of beginning 3 CH. (8 x 3 CH spaces).





CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 2 DC into same 3 CH space;
*CH 1; work [2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC] into next 3 CH space; CH 1; work 3 DC into next 3 CH space. Repeat from * two more times.
CH 1; work [2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC] into next 3 CH space; CH 1; join with a SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
RND 5: SL ST into next 2 STS and into the 1 CH space;
CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), work 2 DC into same space;
*CH 1; work [2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC] into corner 2 CH space; [CH 1, work 3 DC into next 1 CH space] twice. Repeat from * two more times.
CH 1; work [2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC] into corner 2 CH space; CH 1, work 3 DC into next 1 CH space; CH 1; join with a SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends






CH 1; work [2 SC; 2 CH; 2 SC] into space;
*[CH 1; work [work 3 SC] into next 1 CH space]three times;
CH 1; work [2 SC; 2 CH; 2 SC] into next 2 CH corner space.
Repeat from * two more times.
[CH 1; work [work 3 SC] into next 1 CH space] three times; join with a SL ST into first SC worked; changing to new color


work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into 2 CH corner space;
work 1 DC into each SC and 1 CH space; work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into each 2 CH corner space. Join with a SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
