This dress is made to fit the Jessica Amigurumi Doll – if you used a size 4,00 mm hook to make your doll you will need a size 4,00 mm hook to make this dress
Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Top Part:
CH 24
ROW 1: work 1 DC into 4th CH from hook; work 1 DC into next 2 CH;
work [2 DC; 1 CH; 2 DC] into next CH; work 1 DC into next 2 CH;
work [2 DC; 1 CH; 2 DC] into next CH; work 1 DC into next 6 CH;
work [2 DC; 1 CH; 2 DC] into next CH; work 1 DC into next 2 CH;
work [2 DC; 1 CH; 2 DC] into next CH; work 1 DC into last 4 CH. TURN
(34 DC; 4 x 1 CH spaces)
ROW 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into next 5 DC;
work [2 DC; 1 CH; 2 DC] into next CH; work 1 DC into next 6 DC;

Fold piece over with wrong sides inwards;
this part will be worked in the round;
RND 4: CH 3 (this counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into next 5 DC;
creating first arm hole;
SKIP 22 DC;
work 1 DC into next 10 DC;
creating second arm hold;
SKIP 22 DC;
work 1 DC into last 6 DC;
SL ST into 3rd CH of 3 CH
RND 5: CH 1; work 1 SC into first ST (3 CH); CH 2;
*SKIP NEXT DC; work 1 SC into next DC; CH 2.
Repeat from * all around. SL ST into first SC made.
(11 2 CH spaces; 11 SC)
Skirt Part:
RND 6: SL ST into first CH space; CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 2 DC into same space;
*work 3 DC into next CH space.
Repeat from * all around; SL ST into 3rd CH of 3CH.
Note: the SC stitches will be worked into the center DC of a 3 DC group
RND 7: SL ST into the next DC; CH 1; work 1 SC into same ST; CH 3;

Repeat from * all around; SL ST into first SC worked.
RND 8: SL ST into first 3 CH space; CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work [1 DC; 1 CH; 2 DC] into same 3 CH space; CH 1;

Repeat from * all around; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
RND 9: SL ST into the first 1 CH space (between the two 2 DC groups);

work 1 SC into the next 1 CH space;
*work [2 DC; CH 1; 2 DC] into next 1 CH space; CH 1;
work 1 SC into the next 1 CH space.
Repeat from * all around; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Repeat RND 9 for approx 6/7 more times or for how long the dress is required.
Fasten off and weave in end.
