Hi – oops sorry again – I use a draft template for that part of the pattern – so I copy and paste alot – and sometimes the wrong things slip thru. Have removed it 🙂

  3. JOANITA thx…saw the ‘fix’! thx for verifying basket too! i also am using 4 ww yarn, red heart super saver…anyway just wanted to verify that no hdcs were supposed to be in that! 🙂

    next ?/error:
“Size: my jacket is approx 8 inches in length and approx 9 inches in width.”
i dont see a jacket! 😉 you already stated ‘size’ prior to this line…can you clarify? thx

Hi – yes the basket is all DC’s if the yarn you are using is causing it to be too flimsy you can switch the DC to either HDC or SC – but with SC the basket will be smaller. I used a No 4 worsted weight yarn.
The first 3 rnds of the hair are the SAME as the basket which is all DC.
Then the 4th round is worked in HDC to shorten it to fit over the opening of the basket – then round 5 is the ‘petals’ for the hair.

  5. where?? the pic looks like it is dc/hdcs but ll you still have in basket part is dcs…hair is still hdc/dcs…very frustrating…can you please look at the whole pattern…plz is it all dcs or hdc/dcs or???
just dcs the basket is very flimsy
    thx
