Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect

I use US Crochet stitch terminology

Abbreviations:

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)

Special Stitches:

BPDC – back post double crochet

• Step 1: yarn over on hook.
• Step 2: Insert hook into hole next to the post of the next stitch, on the “hook side” from back to front
• Step 3: Bring the hook back to the back of the fabric around the post, to the hole farther from the hook.
• Step 4: yarn over and draw through a loop, bringing it through both sides of the fabric. (3 loops on hook)
• Step 5: yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook. (2 loops remaining on hook)
• Step 6: yarn over and draw through remaining 2 loops on hook.

INSTRUCTIONS:

PART THREE:

Join yarn into any 2 CH corner

NOTE: this round requires concentration – it is not difficult – just DO NOT RUSH IT.

RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC/or do a Standing DC); work [1 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into same 2 CH corner;
**work 1 BPDC around next 2 DC; work 1 DC into the FRONT LOOP of the NEXT DC from RND 1.
*Work 1 BPDC around NEXT DC; work 1 DC into the FRONT LOOP of the NEXT DC from RND 1
Repeat from * 7 more times.
Work 1 BPDC around next 2 DC; work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next 2 CH corner.
Repeat from ** 3 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH or into the top of the Standing DC.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

RND 4: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC/or do a Standing DC); work [1 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into same 2 CH corner;
work 1 BPDC around each ST until next Corner.
*Work [2 DC; 2 CH 2 DC] into next corner; work 1 BPDC around each ST until next Corner.
Repeat from * two more times.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
