This Fold Up Teddy Crochet Play Set Accessories Part Two is the part of a super cute fun play set that folds
up into a little bag with pockets for all the parts.

Notes:

Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect

I use US Crochet stitch terminology

Abbreviations:

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)

INSTRUCTIONS:

For Both Themes:

Handles:

With third shade of blue/pink
Insert hook into the first dip working along the top;
CH 30; SL ST into next dip; work 1 SC into same space; TURN work;
Old Version:
work 30 SC over the 30 CH loop; work 1 SC into dip and fasten off.
SKIP the center dip and Repeat instructions for the second Handle.

OR

New Version:

work 1 HDC into each CH (30 HDC); work 1 SC into dip and fasten off.
SKIP the center dip and Repeat instructions for the second Handle.

Weave in ends.

Pocket:

With third shade of blue/pink

Work 15 SC between the 3^rd and 11^th row from the top – see photos for guide.
ROW 2 – 24: CH 1; work 1 SC into each ST until end (15 SC); TURN

ROW 25: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 2 DC into same ST; work 1 HDC into next 2 STS;
work 1 SC into next 2 STS; work 1 HDC into next 2 STS; work 3 DC into next ST; work 1 HDC into next 2 STS;
work 1 SC into next 2 STS; work 1 HDC into next 2 STS work 3DC into last ST.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Beach Theme – Sea Star: I made 2

With third shade of blue \ aran (white)

Make a magic ring;
Work 10 SC into ring; SL ST into first SC;
*[CH 4; SL ST into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into next CH;  work 1 HDC into next CH];
SKIP 1 SC; SL ST into next SC. Repeat from * 4 more times.

Leave a tail for sewing stars onto play mat.
Sew stars randomly onto play mat.

Ballerina Theme – Flower: I made 2

With yarn make a magic ring;
(CH 3; work 2 DC into ring; CH 3; SL ST into ring) 5 times;
CH approx 8 CH – chain should fit snugly over ear – SL ST into back to form a loop.

Leave a tail for sewing stars onto play mat.
Sew flowers randomly onto play mat.

Sew on the 3 buttons/snap-fasteners/press buttons evenly spaced beneath the
second dip to match the last row of the pocket.

Beach/Tote Bag:
With green/yellow or any color yarn
CH 11

RND 1: Work 2 SC into 2^nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into next 8 CH; work 4 SC into last CH;
continue working in the round on the bottom of the CH;
work 1 SC into next 8 CH; work 2 SC into same ST as first 2 SC; SL ST into first SC worked.
RND 2: CH 1; work 1 SC into first SC; work 2 SC into next ST; work 1 SC into next 8 STS; work 2 SC into next ST:
work 1 SC into next 2 STS; work 2 SC into next ST; work 1 SC into next 8 STS; work 1 SC into last ST.
Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of your rounds.
RND 3: Working into backloops only for this round – Work 1 SC into each ST all around (28 SC);
RND 4 – 10: Work 1 SC into each ST all around (28 SC).
RND 11: Work 1 SC into next 6 STS; SKIP next 8 STS; CH 8; work 1 SC into next 6 STS; SKIP next 8 STS;
CH 8; SL ST into first ST.
RND 12: Work 1 SC into next 6 STS; work 8 SC over next 8 ST CH; work 1 SC into next 6 STS; work 8 SC over next 8 ST CH. Fasten off and weave in ends.
