Basic stitches, simple shaping and finishing.
Concentration required.
MATERIALS:
Yarns:
Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3 : Light – I used cotton yarn
Color – random
Name: 100% Cotton DK
Brand: MoYa
Weight: DK (11 wpi) ?
Meterage: 148 yards(135 meters)
Unit weight: 50 grams (1.76 ounces)
Gauge: 22.0 sts = 4 inches
Needle size: US 2½ – 6 or 3 – 4 mm
Hook size: 3 mm – 4 mm (G)
Fibers: 100% Cotton
Texture: Plied
Hooks & Notions:
Hook 4,00 mm

I use US Crochet stitch terminology.
Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.
Size of finished product will vary depending on yarn and also size of hook used.
Size: approx 15 cm (6 inches) in diameter
Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop

INSTRUCTIONS:
With Color A
CH 6; SL ST to form a ring
RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 2 DC into ring;
[CH 3; work 3 DC into ring] x 3 times; CH 3; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With Color B
Join into any 3 CH space
RND 2: CH 6 (counts as 1 DC AND 3 CH)/or do a STANDING DC and CH 3;
work 1 DC into same space; work 1 DC into back-loop of next DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC;
work 1 DC into back-loop of next DC.
*Work [1 DC; 3 CH; 1 DC] into next 3 CH space; work 1 DC into back-loop of next DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC;
work 1 DC into back-loop of next DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 6 CH/or top of STANDING DC.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With Color C
Join into any 3 CH space.
RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC) /or do a STANDING DC; work 4 DC into same space;
CH 1; SKIP next DC; work 1 DC into back-loop of next DC; work 1 FPTR around center DC of 3 DC group of RND 1;
work 1 DC into back-loop of next DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC.
*Work 5 DC into next 3 CH space; CH 1; SKIP next DC; work 1 DC into back-loop of next DC; work 1 FPTR around center DC of 3 DC group of RND 1; work 1 DC into back-loop of next DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST in 3rd of 3 CH/or top of STANDING DC.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With Color D
Join into 3rd DC of any 5 DC group.
NOTE: next round requires concentration – work into back-loops (optional)
RND 4: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC)/or do a STANDING DC; work [1 DC; CH 2; 2 DC] into same DC;
CH 1; SKIP next DC; work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 FPTR around RND 2 DC; work 1 DC into next DC;
work 1 FPDC around next FPTR; work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 FPTR around RND 2 DC;
work 1 DC into next DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC.
*Work [2 DC; CH 2; 2 DC] into next DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC; work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 FPTR around RND 2 DC; work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPTR; work 1 DC into next DC; work 1 – FPTR around RND 2 DC;
work 1 DC into next DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC.**

With Color B
Join into any 2 CH corner space.
Note: if you have a tight tension – and your work is making a bucket – CH 3 where I have stated CH 2 in the pattern for the next round – work into back-loops (optional)
RND 5: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC) /or do a STANDING DC; work 4 DC into same space;
CH 2 (3); SKIP next 2 DC and 1 CH space; work 1 DC into each of next 7 STS; CH 2(3);
SKIP next 1 CH space and next 2 DC.
*Work 5 DC into next 2 CH corner space; CH 2 (3); SKIP next 2 DC and 1 CH space; work 1 DC into each of next 7 STS; CH 2(3); SKIP next 1 CH space and next 2 DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST in 3rd of 3 CH/or top of STANDING DC.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With Color C
Join into 3rd DC of any 5 DC group.
NOTE: work into back-loops (optional)
