- Gleam – yellow 50 gr x 1 (A)
- Nova – pink 50 gr x 1 (B)
- Shimmy – pink 50 gr x 1 (C)
- Firefly – pink 50 gr x 1 (D)
- Celestial – green 50 gr x 1 (E)
- Ariel – green 50 gr x 1 (F)
MATERIALS:
Yarns:
Moya Shimmer weight 4 ply
Hooks & Notions:
Size 3.25 mm
Scissors
Yarn Needle
Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BPSC – back post single crochet (UK – BPDC)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- READ the instructions through first;
- Easy to Intermediate – this cushion is easy to do although you will need the following basic crochet knowledge – not recommended for beginners.
- please check your stitch count.
- I use US Crochet stitch terminology.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Part Six:
THE BACK:
With A – make a magic circle OR CH 6
NOTE: I worked rounds until my remaining color was finished then I started wherever I ended with the new color.
My color sequence – A; E; B; F and ended with D.
RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 2 DC into ring; *CH 3; work 3 DC into ring.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times; CH 3; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
RND 2 – 5: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into each DC; work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into each corner; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
RND 6: Work 1 SC into each DC; work [2 SC; CH 2; 2 SC] into each corner; SL ST into first SC worked.
RND 7 – 11: Repeat rnd 2.
RND 12: Repeat rnd 6.
RND 13 – 17: Repeat rnd 2.
RND 18: Repeat rnd 6.
RND 19 – 20: Repeat rnd 6
Fasten off and weave in ends after each color.
Finishing Off:
I just SC 3 sides together and (am going to) put in a zipper.
