A fun and cute themed ragdoll. Gabby loves to bake. Her favorite food is cupcakes and cookies.
Difficulty Level | Skills Required
– Easy to Intermediate
Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing.
You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet) and DC (double crochet).
Lots of smaller pieces are crochet first and then attached.
Materials
- Hook – 3, 00 mm and 3, 50 mm. (I used Clover)
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Fiber fill / stuffing
- Optional – Safety Eyes
- Optional – Plastic Dinner Spoon (18/19 cm)
Yarn:
Vinnis Colours – 100% Bamboo Viscose SERINA.
Weight – 4 Ply Sport
Doll
- Body – Approx 100 grams / 222 meters / 242 yards (2 balls – Sand)
- Hair – Approx 50 grams / 111 meters / 121 yards (1 balls – Sunray)
Clothes & Accessories
- Chef’s Hat & Apron – Approx 100 grams / 222 meters / 242 yards (2 balls – Natural)
- Clothes – Approx 100 grams / 222 meters / 242 yards (1 ball – Prince Aqua; 1 ball – Light Aqua)
- Accessories – assortment of colors in various grams (very small amounts to small amounts – 2 grams to 10 grams) – listed in pattern.
Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests 4 ply Sport, but you are not limited to this type of yarn. Any yarn can be used if you take into consideration your sizing for the project will differ.
Tension | Gauge
Using the SAME yarn and hook throughout the pattern will ensure success. This applies to doll clothing and accessories. Counting your stitches is important.
Size
Approx final body size: 13 inches (33 cm) in length – from head to feet.
4 inches (10 cm in width) – waist just above the joining of the legs.
Remember – if you use/choose a different yarn weight/hook size your doll will be a different size!
