My Crochet Dollhouse Playbook Part One

PATTERN SUPPORT

Abbreviations:  US Terminology

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

Instructions:

The Pages:

Size: approx. Size – 27 cm (length) x 33 cm (width)

Yarns: approx. 50 grams in 4 colors – I used blue, cream, green and pink

Hooks & Notions:

  • Size 4.00 mm Hook
  • Yarn Needle

PROJECT NOTES:

The only thing important here is to make sure your pages are all the same size!
Optional
Make 8 pages and do each page on its own, then when assembling the book add a sheet of plastic in-between for extra sturdiness!

The Page Pattern: (Make Four)
The pages are worked double-sided – rooms can be worked on their own page, then 8 are required.

CH 51
Row 1: Work 1SC into 2nd CH from hook, work 1 SC into each CH until end (50 SC), turn.
Row 2 – 49: CH1, work 1 SC into each ST until end (50 SC), turn.
Fasten off after the last row and weave in ends.

    Hi Shweta 🙂
    Slip stitching around the pages are optional. You can also work a single crochet border all around the pages too.

  2. Hi Joanita. Thanks for this wonderful pattern. I’m glad I finally found the opportunity to start my dollhouse playbook. I have a small doubt. From the pictures it looks like you have slipped stitch around the entire page, but somehow I couldn’t find this mentioned anywhere.

Hi I love your work and I am working on 2 of these at the same time. 🙂 I do have a question… On the main house it says to crochet the one side up to row 14 then FO then atach yarn to otherside and repeat row 2. Im assuming it is supossed to be row 2 through 14 again. Am I correct because i could not find any other part to make the other side of the house. Thank you
