
Carnival Reversible Scrap Crochet Cushion Part Four – Free Crochet Along
This Carnival Reversible Scrap Crochet Cushion is a fun, unique cushion worked in a variety of squares.
A puzzle constructed as you crochet.

Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

INSTRUCTIONS
PART FOUR:
Sewing:

- Sew the Solid Granny Square and Swirly Rectangles together as shown in photo.
- Then attach (sew) that to two sides of the Big Wheel square to form one big square.
Making Bigger:

RND 1: Join yarn into the middle SC of a corner. CH3, work 1 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into same ST.
Continue working 1 DC into each ST, working 2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into each corner.
change color
RND 2: Work 1 SC into each ST, working 3 SC into each corner (into the 2 CH space)
change color
RND 3: Work 1 DC into each ST, working 2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into each corner (into the middle SC)
change color
RND 4: Work 1 SC into each ST, working 3 SC into each corner (into the 2 CH space)
Note – this square should be approx. the same size as the Circle Squares square, if it is too small just add a SC row or DC row.
Creating the Cushion:
Place both big squares on the wrong side together and starting in a corner – SC squares together – working 3 SC into each corner.

When 3 sides are done- insert a cushion inner, fluff and shape to fit inside neatly.
Complete last side with SC.
Fasten off and weave in tails.
