This Fold Up Teddy Crochet Play Set Accessories Part Three is the part of a super cute fun play set that folds
up into a little bag with pockets for all the parts.

Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

INSTRUCTIONS:
The Beach Theme:
Beach Towel:
With yellow yarn
CH 16
ROW 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into each CH
until end (15 SC); TURN
ROW 2 – 25: CH 1; work 1 SC into each ST until end (15 SC); TURN
After last row SL ST all around towel; fasten off and weave in ends.
Swim Tube:
With aqua yarn
CH 30; SL ST to form a ring
RND 1: Work 1 SC into each CH (30 SC).
Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of your rounds.
RND 2: *Work 2 SC into next ST; work 1 SC into next 4 SC. Repeat from * all around (36 SC).
RND 3: *Work 2 SC into next ST; work 1 SC into next 5 SC. Repeat from * all around (42 SC).
RND 4: *Work 2 SC into next ST; work 1 SC into next 6 SC. Repeat from * all around (48 SC).
RND 5 – 6: Work 1 SC into each ST all around (48 SC).
RND 7: *Work 2SCtog; work 1 SC into next 6 SC. Repeat from * all around (42 SC).
RND 8: *Work 2SCtog; work 1 SC into next 5 SC. Repeat from * all around (36 SC).
RND 9: *Work 2SCtog; work 1 SC into next 4 SC. Repeat from * all around (30 SC).
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Using a yarn needle, sew the inner circles together; stuffing the tube lightly with fiberfill.
With some green yarn embroider a few French knots all around the tube.
Sun Umbrella:
NOTE: you will need 4 pipe cleaners – twist them together for the bottom part and split them at the top – see photo
With yarn (green/yellow)
Make 8 triangles – 4 green/4 yellow
CH 11
ROW 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into next 9 CH; TURN (10 SC)
ROW 2: SC2tog; work 1 SC into next 6 SC; SC2tog; TURN (8 SC)
ROW 3: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC across; TURN (8 SC)
ROW 4: SC2tog; work 1 SC into next 4 SC; SC2tog; TURN (6 SC)
ROW 5: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC across; TURN (6 SC)
ROW 6: SC2tog; work 1 SC into next 2 SC; SC2tog; TURN (4 SC)
ROW 7: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC across; TURN (4 SC)
ROW 8: SC2tog twice; TURN (2 SC)
ROW 9: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC across; (2 SC)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing; weave in the starting tail.
Using the tails sew the triangles together.
Umbrella Handle Cover:
With yarn CH approx 20 CH – measure the length you need to cover the twisted handle piece:
work 3/ 4 rows in SC; fasten off and leave a long (approx 20/30 cm) tail for sewing.
Fold the piece around the handle and sew together; do not weave in tail.
Umbrella Top Center:
With yarn work up 16 SC all around center hole;
SC2tog x 8 (8 SC); SC2tog x 4 (4 SC);
Fasten off and use tail to sew center close.
Position covered handle in the center of the ‘inside’ of umbrella – see photo;
with handle cover remaining tail sew the pipe cleaner ‘spokes’ onto the umbrella.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Umbrella Frill:
With yarn join into any triangle on the edge;
*SC into 2 STS; CH2/3 (for picot); SL ST into last SC.
Repeat from * all around out side edge of umbrella.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Big Sea-star:
With make a magic circle;
RND 1: work 10 SC into ring; SL ST into first SC
RND 2: work 2 SC into each SC; SL ST into first SC(20 SC)
RND 3: *CH 7; work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook;
work 1 SC into next CH;
work 1 HDC into next 2 CH;
work 1 DC into last 2 CH;
SKIP next 3 SC;
SL ST into next SC.
Repeat from * 4 more times.
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Sew Sea-star onto top center of umbrella.
The Ballerina Theme:
Water Bottle:
With yarn CH 3;
NOTE: I did not stuff the bottle – but this is optional.
RND 1: Work 10 HDC into 3 CH from hook; SL ST into first HDC;
RND 2: work into back-loops only for this rnd – CH 1; work 1 SC into each HDC (10 SC); SL ST into first SC;
RND 3-4: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC (10 SC); SL ST into first SC;
change color;
RND 5: work into back-loops only for this rnd – CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC (10 SC); SL ST into first SC;
RND 6-7: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC (10 SC); SL ST into first SC;
change color;
RND 8-9: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC (10 SC); SL ST into first SC;
RND 10: SC2tog x 5; – do not fasten off continue working handle;
Handle:
CH 8; SL ST into RND 8: work 10 SC into CH 8 loop; SL ST into SC at the start of loop;
Fasten off and use tail to sew opening close after RND 10; weave in ends.
Little Facecloth:
With yarn CH 11
ROW 1: work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into each CH until end (10 SC); TURN
ROW 2-10: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end )10 SC; TURN
SL ST all around square.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Edging:
join yarn into any SL ST loop;
*SL ST; CH 2. Repeat from * all around square.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Little Music Radio:
With yarn;
make 2 circles;
Make a magic ring;
work 12 DC into each ring; SL ST into first DC.
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
With yarn CH 11;
ROW 1: work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into each until end (10 SC); TURN
ROW 2-15: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end (10 SC); TURN
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Fold piece in half and sew the two short edges together;
sew one circle to close up one outer edge;
stuff lightly – I used leftover bits and pieces of yarn – like tails ends!
sew the 2nd circle to close up remaining opening.
Handle:
join yarn at the top; CH 8; SL ST into position; work approx 8/10 SC into CH loop;
SL ST into start of loop; Fasten off and weave in ends.
For decoration – I added a little piece (5 CH; 4 Rows SC) and I embroidered to ‘knobs’ then sewed the piece onto the ‘front’ of the radio.
