Crochet A Block Afghan 2018 Joining & Edging – Free Crochet Pattern
The Crochet A Block Afghan 2018 Joining & Edging is the final section of the
2018 Crochet A Block Crochet Along!
Basic stitches, simple shaping and finishing.
Yarn: Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3 : Light – I used cotton yarn – check the main introduction page!
Color – random – I used all my leftovers from the previous squares
Hook: 3.25 mm
Final Afghan Size: approx 120 cm x 145 cm – this all depends on yarn and hook used!
Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect
I use US Crochet stitch terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
TR – treble crochet
BLP – back loop
This is only a representation of the final 6 squares that were released to complete a 24 square blanket!
Due to time limits and life – and because I did already release two joining and border techniques for this cal – I thought I would list here an assortment that you can choose from to personalize this blanket!
