This Scrapsumptious Crochet Cushion part of the Scrapsumtious Crochet Along.
The choice is yours to crochet a bag, a cushion or a blanket.
Scrapsumptious Crochet Cushion

Basic stitches in simple variations, shaping and finishing.
You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet).
Special stitches explained and provided in the instructions.
Materials
- Hook – 4, 00 mm (G)
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Cushion Inner 45 x 45 cm (18 x 18 inches)
Yarn:
Vinnis Colours – DK Nikkim 100% cotton (50 grams/119 meters)
Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light.
Approx. 8 x balls / 952 meters / 1040 yards
- A – Dunes x 1
- B – Mint x 2
- C – Princess Turquoise x 1
- D – Turquoise x 1
- E – Peacock x 1
- F – Princess Mink x 1
- G – Cappuccino x 1
Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests DK yarn (Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light Worsted), but you are not limited to this type of yarn. Any yarn can be used if you take into consideration your sizing for the project will differ.
Tension | Gauge
Gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect.
However COUNTING your stitches will ensure a true success of this project!
Size
Cushion – approx. 45 x 45 cm (18 x 18 inches)
Remember – if you use/choose a different yarn weight/hook size your cushion will be a different size!

With A – join into any CENTER (3rd) DC of 5 DC Fan.
RND 22: Work starting HDC Popcorn; CH 3; SKIP next DC; work 1 HDC into each of next 58 DC across; SKIP next DC; CH 3.
*Work HDC Popcorn into next DC (3rd DC of 5 DC Fan); CH 3; SKIP next DC; work 1 HDC into each of next 58 DC; SKIP next DC; CH 3. ** Repeat from * to ** 2 more times; SL ST into top of starting HDC Popcorn.
(58 HDC; 4 x corner HDC Popcorn; 8 x corner 3 CH spaces)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Note: Be careful NOT to SKIP the previous round HDC when working the FIRST HDC on each side.

With B – SL ST the two panels together – remember to keep one side open to insert the cushion inner and then SL ST closed.
