INSTRUCTIONS

Section Seven Hexagon Design One – Make 3

Colors:

  • A – Natural
  • B – Purple Pink
  • C – Mint
  • D – Princess Baby Mink

With A and 3, 50 mm – make a magic circle (this is recommended, however if you do not know how or struggle with this method, CH 4; SL ST into 4 CH from hook to form a ring.)

RND 1: CH 2 (does NOT count as a stitch); work 12 DC into ring; SL ST into first DC worked.
(12 DC) Fasten off and weave in ends.

With B – join into any DC.

RND 2: Work Starting 5HDC Popcorn; CH 2.
*Work 5HDC Popcorn into next DC; CH 2. **
Repeat from * to ** 10 more times; SL ST into top of starting HDC Popcorn.
(12 HDC Popcorns; 12 x 2 CH spaces) Fasten off and weave in ends.

With C – join into any 2 CH space.

RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same space; work 1 FPDC around next Popcorn.
*Work 2 DC into next 2 CH space; work 1 FPDC around next Popcorn. **
Repeat from * to ** 10 more times; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
(12 FPDC; 24 DC = 36 STS)

RND 4: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work [1 DC; CH 2; 2 DC] into same ST; work 1 HDC into next 2 STS; work 1 SC into next ST; work 1 HDC into next 2 STS.
*Work [2 DC; CH 2; 2 DC] into same ST; work 1 HDC into next 2 STS; work 1 SC into next ST; work 1 HDC into next 2 STS. ** Repeat from * to ** 4 more times; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
(6 x 2 CH spaces; 9 STS in-between CH spaces x 6 = 54 STS)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With D – join into any 2 CH space.

RND 5: CH 1; work [1 SC; CH 1; 1 SC] into 2 CH space; work 1 SC into each of next 9 STS.
*Work [1 SC; CH 1; 1 SC] into next 2 CH space; work 1 SC into each of next 9 STS. **
Repeat from * to ** 4 more times; SL ST into first SC worked.
(11 STS on each side in-between corner 1 CH spaces – 66 STS in total; 6 x 1 CH corner spaces)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

 

Section Seven Hexagon Design Two – Make 3

Colors:

  • A – Natural
  • B – Princess Salmon
  • C – Princess Aqua
  • D – Princess Baby Mink

With A and 3, 50 mm – make a magic circle (this is recommended, however if you do not know how or struggle with this method, CH 4; SL ST into 4 CH from hook to form a ring.)

RND 1: CH 2 (does NOT count as a stitch); work 12 DC into ring; SL ST into first DC worked.
(12 DC) Fasten off and weave in ends.

With B – join into any DC.

RND 2: CH 2 (counts as 1 DC); work 2DCtog into same DC; CH 2.
*Work 3DCtog into next DC; CH 2. ** Repeat from * to ** 10 more times; SL ST into top of 2DCtog. (12 x DCtog Clusters; 12 x 2 CH spaces)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With C – join into any 2 CH space.

RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 2 DC into same space; skip Cluster.
*Work 3 DC into next 2 CH space; skip Cluster. ** Repeat from * to ** 10 more times; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.

RND 4: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work [1 DC; CH 2; 2 DC] into same DC; work 1 HDC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 SC into next DC; work 1 HDC into each of next 2 DC.
*Work [2 DC; CH 2; 2 DC] into same DC; work 1 HDC into each of next 2 DC; work 1 SC into next DC; work 1 HDC into each of next 2 DC. **
Repeat from * to ** 4 more times; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
(6 x 2 CH spaces; 9 STS in-between CH spaces x 6 = 54 STS)

With D – join into any 2 CH space.

NOTE: work into back loops only.
